There are many ways to confuse people—or ourselves—when we are not clear about what we say and how we say it. Some of these ways are fallacies, or logical mistakes. We make these mistakes when we speak or write without thinking clearly and carefully. Several common fallacies are examined later (Questions #33, #35, #36, and #37). These questions will help you avoid logical mistakes in your own thinking and writing, as well as allow you to recognize such errors in the thinking and writing of others.
